Hi, I’m Justin Madison — a recent Informatics graduate specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. I’m passionate about designing and building intuitive digital experiences, with hands-on experience in data analysis, web development, UX design, and game development. I enjoy tackling both the technical challenges of coding and the creative process of design, and I’m looking forward to contributing as a software engineer, data engineer, or product-focused developer.
Designed a fully interactive workout prototype with progress tracking and exercise exploration.
While taking a course offered at UCI called Informatics 121 - Software Design: Applications, as part of a group of 4 I contributed to the interactive portions of our figma application. The application is meant to guide travelers to local landmarks depending on their location, keep track of those that they visited, and offer fun facts about each.
During the summer I dedicated a large portion of my time learning LuaScript and Blender modelling to be able to create and publish games on the Roblox gaming platform. The game I am currently working on is a Pick a Side variant as part of my reverse engineering practice. Here are some examples of my understanding on data stores and game logic.
Built a high-fidelity web prototype for Supernova Academy, Inc. that enacted uploading CT scans into interactive 3D models for uploaded data. Shipped iterative improvements through weekly meetings with the CEO.
An interactive Power BI dashboard analyzing 24,000+ perfumes across 1,000+ brands and 100+ countries from Fragrantica. It uses a Bayesian-weighted scoring system in DAX to fairly rank perfumes and brands based on both ratings and number of reviews. Users can explore insights by country, brand, gender, or scent accord, with dynamic KPIs, cross-filtering visuals, and clickable links to each fragrance page.
